Died
-- At the residence of her son-in-law, John Plum, five miles north-east
of Adeline, Mrs. John E. Heller. Wednesday, January 20,1892, and
buried in Adeline cemetery, Saturday.
She
was born in Pennsylvania, November 13, 1811 and was aged at death
eight-one years, two months and seven days. Miss Lydia Shot was
married to John E. Heller
about the year 1841. They first settled in the town of Maryland
in 1832 - fourty years ago. Her husband has been dead eleven years.She
was the mother to eleven children, ten of whom survive her - six
sons and four daughters.
She
also leaves one brother and one sister. She has been severely
attacted with rheumatism, being entirely helpless the past seven
years. An honest industrious woman, endured the trials indident
to, the settlement of a new country. The funeral service was preached
in the U.B. church by Rev. B.J. Graham, U.B. minister
