Leaf River, Dec. 19.--Miss Anna Luella Eavey, aged 69, died Thursday at 9:30 p.m. at her home here after an illness of several months.

She was born Sept. 14, 1861, on a farm three miles northwest of Leaf River, a daughter of Isaac and Caroline Eavey.

For the past 35 years she had resided in Leaf River, and for 17 years she had been blind.

A sister, Mrs. Margaret Heistand, with whom she resided survives.
